Taltas (operated by Boston Tech Labs LLC) takes your privacy seriously. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the Taltas platform.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly � including your name, email address, professional history, skills, and career preferences when you create a Taltas account. We also collect information generated through your use of the platform, including SNAP session transcripts, agent interactions, and engagement data on Waypoint pages.

We collect standard technical data including IP addresses (stored as anonymised hashes), device type, browser, and usage patterns. We do not sell this data.

How We Use Your Information

Your professional profile is used to power AI matching through our SNAP protocol and to generate your Waypoint public profile. Session transcripts are used to produce match scores and summaries shared with recruiters when a match result is reached. You control what is surfaced publicly through your Waypoint privacy settings.

We use email addresses to send transactional notifications related to sessions, matches, and platform activity. We do not send marketing email without explicit consent.

Data Sharing

We share candidate data with recruiters only upon a confirmed match result, and only the data you have authorised to be shared. We integrate with third-party ATS platforms (Greenhouse, Lever, Workday) at the recruiter's direction � data pushed to these systems is governed by those platforms' privacy policies.

We do not share your data with advertising networks or data brokers under any circumstances.

Data Retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is scheduled for permanent deletion after a 30-day grace period. Session transcripts associated with confirmed matches may be retained for a longer period as part of placement records, subject to recruiter data retention policies.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time through your account settings. You may also contact us directly at privacy@taltas.ai to exercise these rights. We respond to all requests within 30 days.

Security

Taltas uses industry-standard security practices including TLS encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, and access controls limiting who can view your data. Our infrastructure is hosted on AWS in the us-east-1 region.
